Steven Pomerantz will direct an effort to improve the ability of state and local law enforcement officials in the United States to respond to the threat of terrorism. The project will sponsor exchanges between senior U.S. law enforcement personnel and their Israeli counterparts on how best to respond to and combat acts of terrorism. The project's findings will be published in a series of papers.
