The Independent Women's Forum is neither Independent nor a Forum. Not independent because it is largely funded by the conservative movement. Not a forum, because it merely serves up women who mouth the conservative movement party line.
The IWF is as near a pure conservative movement organization as can be found. Movement people involved include Barbara Ledeen, Elaine L. Chao, Lynne Cheney, Wade Horn, Diana Furchgott-Roth, Paula Dobriansky, Barbara Olson, Sally Satel and Christina Hoff Sommers.
